Writing Style

According to the past readings, authors claim that a cretain writing style is bettter than another style. However if we take a look at literature there is several ways of the explaining how one feels to another person by using a style that suites the wtiter's taste.
For example look at Shakespere, he uses the most seductive and complex way of writing his pieces that drive most people up a wall who are trying to understand it. But once you find out the translation of "To be or not to be?" you hit yourself on the head saying, "Wow that is what he is talking about how simple."
In the end, does it really matter about how we write a paper, a story, a poem or song? As long as it gets the point across to the audience hasn't the author done his or her job correctly? Perhaps everyone should give a Kurt Vonnegut, Jr's method a shot. In his article, "How to Write With Style" , he pretty much tells the readers the plain truth about learning how to write with style. His words of wisdom, "find a subject that you care about. Do not ramble, though. Have the guts to cut. Sound like yourself. Say what you mean to say. Pity the readers."
